Karin Ward first fell in love with dance music as an underaged door crasher at the Ice Palace and The Monster in Cherry Grove in the late seventies heyday of disco and followed the beats into the NYC scene at Studio 54, Xenon (other classic clubs in NYC). She began apprenticing with the original turntable stars of the era and by the mid-eighties was spinning on her own at venues throughout NYC. Karin built her reputation as a top NYC DJ through the nineties at more clubs, expanding to The Hamptons (Swamp, Star Room, Resorts) playing major events like the Gay Pride Parade, Hamptons Tea Dances and other Special Parties for many  thousands of people and began to develop an exclusive client list for private parties and functions nationwide.
